The line from the Ohio River through Columbus to Toledo and the line from the Ohio River through Cincinnati to Chicago. This is what's left of these C&O lines as track was retired or was abandoned in favor of B&O lines in the area. In 1984 these were the C&O tracks in the Ohio Division and the Western Division.
These lines are better known by their historical names such as the Hocking Division, the Russell Subdivision and the Cincinnati and Chicago Division. While part of the Chessie system, the C&O was still independent in 1984. This has to be one of the last C&O track charts as it officially disappeared into CSX in 1987 and a new era took over. |  | This track chart was computer generated for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Office of Transportation Planning. It is on legal size paper (8.5 by 14 inches) and needs this oversized treatment as it holds a lot of information. This is a photocopy of an original C&O track chart.
