Akron Canton & Youngstown Railway Track Chart - AC&Y
 1963 - AC&Y's entire system - 170 miles
Akron, Canton & Youngstown
Ohio's "Road of Service"
Track Chart/Condensed Profile for the Akron Canton and Youngstown Railway - updated to 1963 -- just before the N&W purchased the railroad. The AC&Y began its trek across Ohio at Delphos and ended its run on the east side of Akron at Mogadore just over 170 miles later. That entire run is in this track chart. Included is Brittain Yard, major industries, notes about maintenance section boundaries and a key to all symbols. See a full page example of the track chart above. The front of the track chart is to the right.

This is a bound photocopy of an original AC&Y track chart. The original is fan fold, measuring some 20 feet long. This photocopy is wire comb bound, with card stock covers. Each landscape oriented page has 7+ miles per page, for a total of 24 pages.

The AC&Y become part of the N&W system in 1964, though it did keep its identity, at least on paper. Much of this ACY trackage is now operated by the new regional railroad, the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway.
A track chart shows every mile of track, including curvature, signals, tunnels, grade, speed, rail type and maintenance. This is a VERY detailed track chart. Every switch, yard, many public roads and all RR interchanges. This is a great track chart for fans of the AC&Y. Railfans, modelers and builders of trains sims for MSTS and Trainz enjoy these track charts.
