99 pages - Early Amtrak - 1977 or 1978 | Here is Amtrak's high-speed corridor! Included is the Northeast Corridor from Washington to Boston as well as the Harrisburg Line and Springfield Line. There is no date on this track chart, but the 1977 and 1978 maintenance programs are mentioned and I can find no date later than those years in the track chart. These are, for the most part, done in the late Penn Central and early Conrail track chart format.

A note about readability: Most pages are quite readable, a few of the originals were older PRR or PC track chart pages and some detail is lost and some notations are not readable. An index and key are included.
A track chart shows every mile of track including curvature, signals, tunnels, grade (profile), speed, rail type, and maintenance. This is a VERY detailed track chart. Great for railfans or modelers - and many are using these to make Trainz or MSTS train sims. |
