| | Pennsylvania Steam Era Keystone Number Plate Diagram | | Large size: 35 by 29 inches - great detail | | | PRR Keystone Number Plate Diagram Drawn in 1927 - Obsolete by 1929 | This diagram, PRR blueprint C-83725, details how steam engine number plates are to be manufactured and finished.
This is a photocopy of the original blueprint. The photocopy has been cleaned up to make the details even clearer. The picture at right doesn't show the copy off very well, it shows part of the border clipped off and the picture is not very cklear - it's just my poor picture taking skills. The entire document has been faithfully reproduced. | | This diagram was only used by the Pennsy for two years: Drawn in 1927, updated 4 times and then made obsolete in 1929. It is stamped OBSOLETE on the bottom. It shows a full front and a side view of the number plate with all details, specifications and measurements called out. It is 35 by 29 inches. What is more Pennsy than a keystone steam engine number plate? It will be shipped rolled in a tube. It has not been folded.
