| | Long Island Rail Road - Railroad - Annual Report 1941 | | The LIRR was Pennsylvania Railroad controlled at this time | |
| | The Sixtieth Annual Report of the Long Island Railroad (note spelling on the cover), for the year ended December, 1941. | The Long Island Rail Road was owned by the Pennsy at this time and this report is issued from the "Office of the Secretary, Broad Street Station Building, Philadelphia". I find the spelling of Railroad on the cover interesting - as far as I know, the LIRR has always used two separate words Rail Road.
21 pages. In good condition. The cover is in good shape, with only a slight blemish - see the cover at right. Oversize at 9 inches by 12 inches. This is a no-frills annual report - as befitting a nation at war (this was submitted in March 1942). Information includes financial as well as railroad related.
This comes from a non-smoking environment. It will be securely packed and safely shipped. | |
| | RailfanDepot carries a collection of railroad paper both new and collectible. | |
