Coast Line, Burbank Branch, Zones 71 & 72 | SPINS was Southern Pacific's system to identify every customer and every spur on the railroad. SPINS is very similar to Conrail's ZTS or Santa Fe's CLIC system. SPINS stands for Southern Pacific Industrial Numbering System.
This SPINS covers the Coast Line's Burbank Branch, Zones 71 and 72. Dated 1987 this is a short one at only 19 pages. Includes maps of industry locations in each zone and a listing of industries keyed to the maps. A scan of an industry key page is at the right while a scan of one of the map pages is below.
