| This Steam Locomotive Diagram Book was put out by the Erie in 1910 and kept updated - with the last official update January 20, 1931. Further updates have been made in pencil to various diagrams and detail pages. Covered are all steamers on the property from Class B-1, 0-6-0, locomotives to Class J-2, 2-10-0, locomotives and Class S-4, 2-8-4, locomotives. Also included is a gasoline powered locomotive and an NYS&W 4-6-0 camelback (Class G-8). Other than the one gasoline powered locomotive, this is entirely a steam locomotive diagram book.
Details for each engine are quite extensive: Number of engines in class, class details and then details by engine number such as build dates, appliances and "specialties". | This is a photocopy of an original Erie Railroad Steam Locomotive Diagram Book. 155 pages. 17 index pages, diagram pages are followed by one or more data pages with a breakdown of detail by engine number. Updated to 19311. 8.5 x 11 paper. Hole-punched and placed in a report cover.
