The B&P runs between Buffalo and Eidenau - just north of Pittsburgh - with branches and affiliated roads along the way.
You'll see big DS45 diesels hauling coal and manifest traffic through the scenic hills and valleys of Pennsylvania and New York - these ex-SP monsters really put on a great show. This video was shot in July, 1998, mostly between Salamanca and Punxsutawney on the B&P main. We do get a side trip to the Allegheny RR between Warren and Erie and see with a 3 unit GP38/40 lashup on the ARR. |
