Seaboard Air Line Railway Diagram Book on CD
Diagrams for Seaboard Air Line locomotives on the property in 1942. Steam was still king, but diesels were taking over! Build dates from 1902 to 1942. The SAL relied heavily on ALCo and Baldwin Locomotive Works for their steam engines. One is listed as built by the SAL. Diesel builders include ALCo, EMC and BLW. 81 pages total: 61 diagrams, 18 index pages, 2 revision notes pages. Pages are 11.5x5 inches. The cover (see scan below) includes a note, "James Bailey - Savannah, GA".
