Two Track Charts: 1983 and 1990 on CD | The Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific Railway was (and is) a part of the Canadian National family. Prior to the mid-1990s it had more independence including its own logo. Here on CD-ROM, are two track charts for the same railroad, but the coverage area differs somewhat.
The 1983 track chart covers the DWP system from the Superior Connection interchange and West Duluth Yard through Virginia to Ranier at the US/Canada border. It was originally a fanfold track chart of some 40 feet in length. It belonged to RJ Nicholson, Adm. Asst. to DW&P President. This is a blue-line blueprint and is presented as three continuous PDF files. This has been scanned as a high quality color, continuous scan. Each PDF covers roughly a third of the system.
The 1990 DWP track chart covers the DWP system from the CN&W interchange at Itasca through Pokegama and Brewer and Nopeming Jct to Ranier at the US/Canada border. The 1990 track chart was also a blue-line blueprint, originally some 49.5 feet in length. It is presented on this CD-ROM as 33 PDF files. Each file is a roughly 11x17 page, scanned in high quality, high contrast, black & white for easy printing.
